My General Schedule
Monday:
- If invoices weren’t sent on Sunday, they’ll be sent out today, depending on weekend activity.
- Typically reserved for wrapping orders.
Tuesday:
- Deliver wrapped and paid boxes to the post office.
- Finalize wrapping any “open” boxes.
Wednesday:
- General shop time for various tasks.
Thursday:
Friday:
- If restocking for live sales, prep by pricing items and organizing the live space.
- If no restock occurs, focus on preparing the live station and working on lapidary projects.
Saturday:
- Live Rock Sale: Starts at 10 AM PST.
- After the live sale, clean the space and prep for Sunday, then relax for the evening.
Sunday:
- Live Rock Sale: Starts at 10 AM PST.
- After the live sale, clean up and organize my workspace.
- Manually total each person’s box from the live sale, which can be time-consuming.
- Review notes to check for “open” or “closed” boxes and calculate shipping costs.
- Amy helps with wrapping of the boxes that have been totaled while I’m totaling the remaining boxes.
- Start sending out invoices via PayPal
Note: This schedule is a general guideline. Larger sale events may adjust it by a day, resulting in:
- Monday: Prepping and sending invoices
- Tuesday: Wrapping
- Wednesday: Wrapping and delivering items to the post office
